Installing the driver

The CodingBox Driver is a small local program that lets the browser application talk to a programmer board over USB. Install it once; the web app detects it automatically.

Download and run

  1. Open the downloads page and get the build for your operating system.
  2. Run the installer and follow the prompts.
  3. Start the driver — it runs quietly in the background and listens for the app.

Verify the connection

Open the online application. When the driver is running and a board is attached, the link indicator in the app turns active and the connection selector lists your board.

If you do not have hardware yet, the app stays in simulator mode and still lets you explore every screen.

Troubleshooting

  • App shows "no driver" — make sure the driver process is running, then reload the page.
  • Board not listed — reconnect the USB cable and check that the board has power.

The driver only bridges USB and the browser. All reading and decoding happens in the application itself.
